I synced my iphone with computer for the first time today, it suggested i download icloud program so I did. In the setup, I believe there was a box that suggested syncing with outlook. This was checked and I proceeded. All of my emails began to drain out of my inbox on my phone and I was completely unable to even open outlook on computer. I later found them in deleted items at https://mail.ex1.secureserver.net/owa/.

In the meantime I went to several forums and blogs then went into outlook, deleted icloud and made a new something that was .pst not .owa (I think?). This fixed the issue but logging into outlook would bring up an error message and then work anyway. I had email back on my phone with recent messages.

I was having other problems with the computer and had Toshiba support take remote control of my computer and asked them to also fix outlook. I have no idea what happened. I now have zero emails in my inbox and can no longer find them in deleted items at https://mail.ex1.secureserver.net/owa/.

I cannot find any solutions to this online. Thank you for help :)

Why are you using iCloud with exchange server mailboxes? It's not necessary as all devices can sync directly to the mailbox.

Did you download everything into a pst file? if so, open it in your profile and see if your messages are there. If there are not, Check recover deleted items - they should be there. It's on the Folder tab in Outlook - it should be in OWA too, but I'm not sure of the the location of the command.

Do you need to recover calendar and contacts? Are they still in the icloud?
