Duplicate contacts

Each time I create a new contact in my local PC Outlook 2013 (part of 365) it shows a duplicate entry. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?
 
This is with the outlook.com account? Are you editing the contact after you create it? If so, this will create a duplicate. While you can delete one, if you later edit the contact in Outlook, it will be deleted. It's recommended you only edit contacts in Outlook.com until the problem is fixed... or suffer with duplicates for now.
