Outlook 2013 Deleted calendar and contact items not going to delete folder

I sync my email, contacts, and calendar using EAS with an outlook.com account (not corporate). I am using a verizon email address which I have added to outlook.com to collect my emails. All of my data is in one ost file and syncing well. I just noticed that when I delete an email it goes to the delete folder, but not when I delete a calendar or contact item-they just disappear. I have tried "ctrl 6" to see hidden folders but I only see an "unwanted" subfolder under "deleted". I sync with an android phone and am so afraid to delete something by mistake. Help!
