How many days are items in Recover Deleted at Outlook.com ?

In Outlook.com, how many days are items (emails, etc.) stored in the Recover Deleted area ?

Trying to verify that email in that area is "purged" (really gone) after a reasonable amount of time.

We are "doing an experiment", to see if we can see what happens.
But the UI for that Recover Deleted area is not very nice.
For example, it does not show the date the item was moved into "Recover Deleted".

If you have Outlook desktop, the deleted on date is available in the Recover Deleted items dialog. It looks like it is 30 days in deleted items recovery on the consumer side (the oldest messages in my recovery folder were deleted on 7/17).

FWIW, this may be going away - i don't see the option in the new "beta" version of Outlook.com.

I use OWA ("web") for outlook.com (not the Outlook desktop.)

On this part--- this may be going away - i don't see the option in the new "beta" version of Outlook.com.

Does that refer to the entire "Recover Deleted" process ?

it's too soon to know... it might be that the option won't be available in Outlook on the web and is only available in Outlook desktop. Or they are working on the interface and forgot to add it.
