I Change the Subject Line ... but after it is moved the subject has reverted

All, I did scour the forum ... and other forums prior to posting … no joy. I am using Widows 10 64b, and Office 365, Outlook 64b, on my desktop which is connected via ActiveSync to "Microsoft".

I can change the subject lines on email in the Inbox and save the mail ... no problem there. For example, in the Inbox:

Subject: Bill
Changed and saved Subject: Bill 160528

Later, when I move the email to another folder, the subject reverts to its original subject. For example, in the Another Folder:

Subject: Bill

What can I do to change the title once and keep the change, even after a move? What am I missing?
 
I think it's a limitation of Active Sync and should go away once your outlook.com is moved to the new server and configured as Exchange... or it's the conversation view. It will always show the original subject in the message list but the changed subject will be in the reading pane or opened message - and visible if you don't use conversation view.
