Over the last couple of days I have been facing major issues with calendar apps on my smartphone. They used to work fine, but early this week, for one reason or the other, all data has gone. Since then I have been trying to figure out what it might have been, seeking solutions on Internet. Yesterday, the entire day... I have been busy with this.
I am sure it has something to do with Exchange. In my case, as an individual user, the synchronizing with Android smartphone is posing me too much problems.
Hence I want to switch to IMAP and accept the loss of shared a shared calendar and shared contacts. Maybe a 3rd party tool can solve that problem.
Windows 10 x64, Office 365 (subscription)
Within my Outlook I have 4 accounts: 2x GMail IMAP, 2x Outlook Exchange, that I want to change into IMAP
How am I to proceed?
@Diane Poremsky
I read your post on answers.microsoft.com
Am I supposed to first created accounts based on IMAP, have those synchronized and then delete the exchange accounts?
Thanks!
btw: I did try to setup Exchange on the smartphone, but I needed to sign in each time.
(no matter whether I used outlook.office365.com, or eas.outlook.com or m.hotmail.com as a server)
