When trying to schedule a meeting I am using the scheduling assistant, I put

the attendee's names in the list but their schedule won't show up. I only see

the "hash marks" with the message - No free/busy information could not be

retrieved.

This only happens with 1 user, everyone else can see the information.

How do we fix it?

Anything special about that user? How are they connected to your Exchange

server? Have their permissions to the Free/Busy folder been removed?

some of the user's calendars have "hash" marks beginning Oct. 1 2011

When creating a meeting in Outlook 2010, I use the schedule view from within the meeting/appointment. I am trying to schedule some meetings a few months in the future, and some of our user's calendars begin to display hash marks starting Oct. 1 this year.

These are calendars that have granted viewing permission.

This is not the case for all users.

I cannot find anything different about how these users have configured their outlook or how they connect to our exchange server.

Please advise what i can do gain viewing access to these calendars from the scheduling view.

thank you,

mburwell

Re: some of the user's calendars have "hash" marks beginning Oct. 1 2011

Free busy publishing default is 2 months - this month and next. If you increase it in options, calendar options, one month will be 'this month' and the rest will be future months.
