I am just beginning to research solutions and am hoping someone can help steer me in the right direction. My company has about 100 people in half a dozen departments. We are trying to come up with a contact management system that will satisfy everyone. The facts are:
100 users
Laptops and desktops (with the desire that shared contacts are available on the mobile laptops)
One contacts folder for "company" contacts, several for departmental and separate home for personal contacts
Various users need access to various departmental contact lists
We use a variety of phones - iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc.
We use Alt N's mDaemon as our mail server and their Outlook Connector to do some sharing today.
I realize this is a big "ask" but can anyone in a non-exchange environment tell me how you have implemented the same? Thanks in advance.
