I wrongly assumed that I could just copy my IMAP PST file to another drive, cancel the hosting account and then get access to the e-mail messages later ("Open an Outlook data file").
But when I DO try to open that PST file (that's 243mb big), Outlook just says "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation cannot be performed because the object has been deleted."
Am I completely hosed here? Are there tools (free or for a fee) that can read the messages in that file? Are the messages even IN there somewhere?
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
