Outlook 2003 - showing meeting on wrong day and time

Hi all

I have searched for an answer to this, but can't find one. I know this is not at DST issue as it has been happenning for some time.

Sometimes when my husband sends me recurring meeting invites, they appear on random days and times in my calendar. For example he may send me an invite for Sunday 8pm, and it appears in my calendar on Wednesday mornings at 6:00am.

When I open the invitation in my calendar I see the recurrence with the correct day and time, but it still shows up in my calendar at the wrong date and time?

For some reason this only happens with invitations from my husband. It is not all invites, just some. Unfortunately he sends me many because of our kid's sports activities and many of them are wrong in my calendar.

I hope someone has a solution. Thanks in advance

WE know when the view is corrupt, that meetings and appointments will display on the calendar at the time they were added or created. The fix is to reset the view.

You might be able to fix it by resetting th view on the calendar, if not you'll need to use the cleanviews switch.

In the Start menu, search field or Windows key+R to open the Run command, type outlook.exe /cleanviews and press enter.
Note, there is a space between outlook.exe and the /.
