I am seeking an editor that will permit editing EVERY field in an outlook PST data file.

Additionally, I would like to be able to read a field, verify it against a set of rules (which I define), and then modify the field's data, and write the new/corrected data back to the field within a given record.

Is there anyone who has such a product?

You can use VBA to read and test fields but it can only change fields that are read/write. You'll need to use Redemption (at outlookspy.com) to edit fields that are read-only by default - however, many of the fields can't be edited even with redemption. To edit those you need to learn extended mapi.
