We have outside users that have our orgs email address. We are a church so various ministries etc have our org email address. When a person on a council leaves, they get deleted... and any spam going to the org address goes away. Yes, when they reply to someone, it is from their home address.... but this way email is getting to them and they don't have to remember to check another place for email...(like OWA) that is the justification for this setup
So I like to have all of our ministries set up in "mail contacts" (with aliases) But the contact for some of these ministries are internal mailboxes. So sure, I could (and have) just add that email address to the mailbox. But I like to still have the placeholder in "mail contacts" so if it changes to an outside address, it is a quick change.
But I can't point a "mail contact" to a mailbox... so it messes up the plan. Is there any way to have a mail contact (alias) point to an internal mailbox so I can keep Dynamic DL's intact and be able to have all my ministry contacts listed in the "Mail Contact" area? I can't think of one.
