How do I edit an attachment in an invite without notifying the attendees?

Hello,

I have a confidentiality issue that I really need help with. I had scheduled an interview between a candidate and a person from upper management at my company using my 2003 Version of Outlook. However, I sent the manager a document of the candidate that had confidential information in it that should not have been made visible to the manager. The interview has already happened and he has already seen the document. However, I am looking to go back into the old calendar invite that I sent him for the interview with this attachment to see if I can update the attachment so that it shows up on his invite without sending him an update of the invite. Is there a way to do this?

I am basically trying to erase the fact that I ever sent the wrong document to the manager in the first place by going back into the now old invite and switching out the confidential attachment with a non-confidential attachment, but yet I don't want to notify him of the update, and I need the update to show up on the old invite that he can see.

I greatly appreciate anyone's help with this.
