Conditional dates in Outlook Calendar

Hello to all,

I don't think it is possible to do this but I thought I would ask...

Is there any way to create a reoccurring appointment that would automatically change a date if it falls on the weekend?

For example...I want to be notified about updating software on the 15th of each month, but if the 15th falls on Saturday or Sunday, notify me on the prior Friday instead.

Any Ideas?

No, it's not possible. I have VBA code that can create individual appointments over the date and it checks for weekends (and moves ahead to Monday, but it could be changed to move back) or you could do it in excel and import - but outlook doesn't have a native capability to do this.
