Hi, As a new bee. I was wondering how to do in outlook vba:

1.An excel sheet template is available with "FromDate", "ToDate", "Time", "Name" column.

2.When email is sent to a specific Team , it should look the time.
-and if time lies in mentioned range or Time in excel sheet,
-it changes the "To address" to the address of the respective "Name" from the

excel sheet for the current Date.(it should find the email address for that name, as it will

be only name in excel.) .
-and put the previous mentioned Team address to CC
-and another address in CC aswell.

This might be easier to do with an Excel macro - Start the macro in Excel, it checks the date, addresses the email, pops it up for you to complete and send. When it do it in Outlook on Send, it slows down the process because it needs to wait for Excel to open. CSV or TXT file with the information might be faster - build an array and check dates then use Case statements.

How many records are in the sheet?

How many choices for To addresses? Do these change often?

Oh, and to clarify, are you checking mail that you send or mail that you receive and need to forward on to someone else?

The format can be changed. but then how it will fetch the data according.

I think you asked about records is rows. the excel will have one sheet and the rows may go for the dates till the end of the year.

The names are fixed as per the sheet.

when sending email it has to check "to address" and if its for a specific address (which is fixed). then it will have to change the "to address" and put the adress of the person from the sheet for the current date.

And put the orginal "to adress" as CC.
