Voting and auto reply

I have created a dedicated email account to be used for voting

I do not want any body to send an email to this email, only to respond by voting. so I created a rule to make the server auto-reply for any email to ask the sender to use the voting.

the server responded to everyone included the people who voted only

how can I overcome this?

Autoresponses are an all or nothing thing (and only once per session). You'd need to use a server side rule (assuming you can log into the mailbox) but none of the rules i tried are server side. :(

Thank you for your response, I did not use an auto reply, I created a rule "have server reply using a specific message". This replied to everybody (including who only voted)

it was really embarrassing, and also messed up with the tracking

I am thinking of putting a condition using "with a size in a specific range", Votes are only 1 KB in size, I guess if I use a bigger size (10 KB or so), it will only respond to messages not votes.

Do you think this would work? and will not affect the tracking?:confused::confused::confused:
