My wife recently left her firm and I am setting her up at home -- which means without exchange. I see that the standard answer for a non-exchange out-of-office uses rules. SO I ma using rules -- with some minor VBA adjustments to turn on/off the rule and keep that status visible .
My question has to do with ways to flag my auto replies in order to avoid loops. I see that MS out of office identify by an attribute in the header. I see it varioulsy refered to as ""Auto-Submitted: auto-replied," "X-Auto-Response-Suppress: All," Auto-Submitted: auto-generated," and "X-MS-Exchange-Inbox-Rules-Loop: the-mailbox-primary-smtp-address and/or recognize."
My question is simple == how does one modify an OST so that when sent it has these extra fields in its header???
I would also like to know any way to identify these emails received, bu tthat is a seperate question and I presume it may require a different approach than rules
