Form disappears when replying to it

Hi

I have built a survey form (custom) in outlook. I got all to work except after mailing to a recipient and the recipient wants to reply the form disappears. If I forward it the form stays visible. I can see two way to solve this but dont know if it is possible.

1. solve the problem that the form stays visible when replying

or

2. cause the mail to forward if replying is pressed (don't know if this is possible)

Any help will be appriciated.

It will be sent externaly and not with in the exchange server

I did not separate them as the form did not show when it was seperated, sorry with outlook I'm still a noob. I published it in the inbox so I can convert it to a template so that I can give it to the people I'm doing it for.

I have now disabled reply and reply to all so that only forward is possible, I could not see how else to do it.

I tried using a button named cmdSubmit

The button I added the following code:

Sub cmdSubmit_Click()
Item.To = "test@temp.co.za" 'fake address for code display only
Item.Send

End Sub

The button works on my side when testing but when others are using it it does not work after being sent, is it macro security preventing it? If so then that would also not be an option.

Did you create separate read and compose forms? Is the form published in the organizational forms library?

The macro is part of the problem - for security reasons, it needs published to work.

Is the item.to address the same as the sender's address? if so, its not needed. Also, you can use the reply to field if you need to send it to a different address. By removing the code, the form won't need published.
