Overall inbox folder, overall unread folder

Hello,

I recently switched from Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2013. As I have several email accounts I miss an overall inbox folder and an overall unread mails folder really really bad. It is quite uncomfortable to go through each account manually in order to read unread mails. Is it possible to create such folders? I tried arround with search folder. But this works for one account only.

thx for your answer. unfortunately ctrl+alt+a does not have any effect. i do something wrong i guess.

furthermore "2) Type the following in the search box: folder: (Inbox) received: (this week)" would recall all emails from the past week. i would be interested to have a folder that recalls all unread mails and a folder that recalls all mails. just like windows live mail provides.

well, if this isnt possible in outlook i can live with going through all accounts manually. although this poses a really strange constraint by ms as this might be one of the most requested folders.

Ctrl+Alt+A sets the search scope to use All Mailboxes, after you've set up instant search.

You can use instant search to search all indexed data files but can't use search folders across different mailboxes - you'll need to use macros if you want predefined searches.
