I currently use a desktop computer when I am in the office and travel with a laptop computer. I have copied the PST file from the desktop to the laptop before taking the laptop on the road. When I returned to the office, I synchronized the PST files from the laptop back to the desktop. With POP3 accounts, I have never had a problem. I have full access to my messages, contacts, tasks, calendar on either the desktop or laptop.
I am using Outlook 2010
I want to use Outlook 2010 on both my laptop and desktop without moving the POP PST file back and forth.
I plan on changing my 4 gmail accounts over to IMAP. I will configure all 4 IMAP accounts in Outlook I will sync the folders manually by dragging and dropping then I will delete all of the POP folders. I will have Outlook POP PST on both computers to keep my address book and contacts. I will run a sync program on both computers to sync my address book and contacts from gmail. Am I missing anything? Will this work, or should I say should this work?
Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.
