outlook keeps neither SENT or FORWARDED messages... they vanish !

hello,
none of the messages I send can be found anywhere
not in the sent items
not in the original folder when I forward or reply...

I just can't figure out what to do o_O
 
This is a pop account? If it's imap, check the sent folder on the server, if they are there, the folder in outlook needs resynced or the view reset.

Do you have more than one data file in your profile?

What Addins do you use? Look in file, options, addins.

Are you browsing to look for the messages or using instant search? If browsing, reset the view.

I have two data files, I changed the default one and things are as they should be !
but those mails I sent before are nowhere in outlook, that's weird :confused:
of course, they are on the server so nothing is lost !

It sounds like the account is imap. If so, they will sync down. If you used imap before and pop now, they won't sync down as pop is inbox-only.
