Cannot connect to main BT email account, sub accts okay

No problems with downloading emails until yesterday when my main BT account failed, please see attached jpg which shows that OL 2010 is asking for my server information although it is correct and has been for quite a few years, my sub account download fine and apart from user/passwords are set up the same as my main account.
I can log on to my main account directly on the BT website using my existing user and password which is the same on OL. I am not sure where to look for the cause of the problem, maybe my profile has been corrupted... I really have no idea.

I am hoping some one can give me some pointers as to what the remedy might be as I use OL a lot and this will be a pain as time goes on and I cannot download my main account emails!

The attached jpg shows every time I try to download, ticking remember password make no difference and just pops up again next time. I am using Bit Defender Total Security for many years and I have not made any recent changes to that or OL 2010.
