In Outlook 2010, I was able to change the Sent Items location for an IMAP account (Account Settings ... -> More Settings -> Sent Items tab). However, in Outlook 2019, there's no Sent Items tab.
I need this feature because at work, where we have a shared gmail account. Multiple people have to do mail merges and we want to segregate the merges from different computers into different Sent Items folders (gmail labels).
With Outlook 2019, all the mail is going into \\<account>\Gmail\Sent Items.
I tried the following as a workaround: enable "Do not save copies of sent items"; then create a rule "Apply this rule after I send the message, move a copy to the SentFromX folder." The message gets sent and a copy does appear in the SentFromX folder. However, when I check SentFromX via gmail web interface, there is no copy. It is only a local copy and never syncs no matter how I mess with Send/Receive groups.
How can I get the messages to sync at this point? Or better yet, is there some way of configuring the Sent Items folder so I can have the same functionality as with 2010?
Thanks!
