White square in body of Outlook Messages (O2016 Version 2012 32bit Click To Run)

I suspect this is a display driver issue (refresh, redraw). New computer, sometimes getting a large white screen obscuring a section of messages, and this stays in place when scrolling down, and also changing between inbox and sent items.

All my display drivers are up to date (also Windows and Office updates).

has anyone else experienced this? (screen shot attached). It appears to be an intermittent fault.

When this happens, a dialog or another element was on screen - its usually a display driver problem. Do a repair of office.

Dopes it go away if you restart Outlook? If so, it was caused by an outlook dialog.
 
I am hesitant to do an office repair, as it is a new installation on a new computer, and everything seems to be working OK (apart for this occasional white square).

Restarting Outlook seems to resolve the issue. Restarting Outlook also seems to result in the issue (when it has not been occurring in the previous session).
 
Try toggling the Hardware Graphics Acceleration Setting, in Outlook, shown below

To clarify, when i say toggle, I mean if it's on turn it off. If it's off, turn it on.
