Searches are not working properly

Hello All
For the last while I've had problems with Outlook 2019 on my Windows 10 PC, searching.
If I'm in Calendar and search for something, always get the response, "no results" even though I know what I'm looking for is there.
If I'm in Contacts and search for someone I KNOW who is there, same thing, 'no results'.
And now I see that 'autocomplete' is gone bonky.
Are all these problems related?
I should add that everything is Indexed so that's not what's stopping Outlook from finding.

It can be a roadblock in your work when you want to search for something urgently, and your searches are not working properly. In such a case, try the steps below to resolve the issue:

  • Try to resolve the issue through the troubleshooter of Windows search.
  • Ascertain that details in the indexing are complete, and don't forget to include the data of Outlook in indexing.
  • Rebuild the catalog of searches and check if the search is working in the newly made catalog.
  • Ensure that the search service of Windows is enabled.
  • Use Control Panel to repair the office.
  • Try to reinstall the office to resolve the issue.
