Hi everyone,
I want all my junk mail to be deleted automatically. But since Outlook "Rules" don't apply to the Junk folder, I've taken to entering domains into Outlook's "Safe" list, and THEN creating rules to automatically delete emails with those domains in the sender's email address. Works great... for the most part.
But now there's a new fiendish user who is randomizing the first part of the domain name. E.g., I get emails from addresses like serij238o7@lseir78234il.abc.com, 892u3o4jklsfd@89234uijls.abc.com, etc. I tried entering "abc.com" into the "Safe" list (which Outlook accepted), and then creating a rule to delete all emails with "abc.com" in the sender's address, but this isn't working. These emails still land in my Junk folder, which means the rule doesn't get applied. :-(
I'm getting the impression that Outlook only looks for emails from addresses that contain the names from the Safe list *right after* the @. E.g., if I get an email from info@abc.com, it would mark it safe, but if the email is from a 3 word domain like info@jaddajadda.abc.com, it ignores it.
Help!
