MS 365 Outlook v2403 Build 17425.2058
Dell Inspiron, Windows 11
With any Outlook item I create- Email, Appointment, Contact or Task, when I add a link to a local file, I always get this message.
The above link points to a network drive but the message persists even if the link is to a file on the C: drive.
(If I try to use the UNC, after saving, the path is always changed to a a URL as above)
Unlike other attachment warning messages, even when I load Outlook as Admin, I don't get the option to disable the message.
I did a thorough web search and tried all the suggestions such as for the Outlook and Word Trust Center options and adding the "DisableHyperlinkWarning" to the registry.
Any ideas Diane?
