Outlook 2010 Originating & Using a Template, how & where?

I need to send out match details for a bowling club, we play other clubs both at home and away, I need to contact other clubs to arrange these games. The contents are much the same so a template would be useful.
I have looked at Google and YT videos but not found what I need. There are references to templates saved in c: User/ / / / Roaming/templates but that option does not seem to exist and many suggestions are not available in Outlook 2010. I have tried to use drafts and copy and paste but that just gets messy.
Is there a straightforward way to originate and use a simple template that can be amended to include the options? Home and Away, date, time, location, type of competition triples, rinks etc, provided refreshments, dress code, ladies, men's, mixed.....
 
Create the message then use File > Save as > Outlook Template (oft). If it's just text (which all email templates should be), you can save it to any easy to access location (like desktop) then double click to open it. You can copy it to a folder in Outlook (I named mine Templates) and use it from there.
 
Thanks Diane, I have used an Excel form which I made up. Saved that as a file, entered the new details, then copied the section and pasted it into a blank email. Closed the Excel file, not deleted it, then re-opened it for the second version and repeated the system. I will try your suggestion though.
