Google Desktop fails to index Outlook 2010

I am using Microsoft Outlook Version: 14.0.4760.1000 (32-bit) and Google Desktop 5.9.1005.12335-en-pb on Windows 7

Since installing Outlook 2010 Google Desktop no longer indexes Outlook. No error messages. I have installed and re-installed and reindexed more times than I care to think about.

Any assistance, tips, clues, resources welcomed.
 
I'm not positive that Google Desktop supports Office 2010, but have you checked to make sure the Google Desktop add-in is installed and running in Outlook? File | Options | Add-ins...

 
I've found that Google Desktop 5.9.1005.12335-en-pb DOESNOT INDEX my OUTLOOK 2010 Emails, though I have ticked the option. Clicking the Plug-in link, a message displays:" As of September 14, Google Desktop will no longer be available for download, and existing installations will not be updated to include new features or fixes. "

Can Desk Top 5.9 be made to index Outlook 2010 emails?
