Printing a monthly calendar in overlay view

I have Outlook 2007 and the latest version of Calendar Printing Assistant. I am trying to print a monthly view calendar in overlay mode (2 calendars merged together). The problem is when I go to print, it prints on 3 pages, not condensed onto one page. There is still room in the calendar box. How do I get it all on one page?
 
I tried to make the margins as big as possible and even tried other calendar templates. I think the problem lies with the fact that they are recurring appointments. I can't seem to find a way to shrink them down in size.
