View the date a contact was created

I really hope I am missing something. In Outlook 2007, you could view the properties of a specific contact, and see the date it was created, modified, etc... This appears to have vanished in Outlook 2010. Is there a simple way to see this info? I don't want to sort all of my contacts, etc... I just want to know when a contact was created, quickly and easily.

The all fields list? Sure, look for the All fields tab in the Show section.




ETA: the little properties dialog is available but you need to customize the ribbon or QAT to see it. This is the dialog that has just the dates and importance. There are 3 Properties in the All Commands group when customizing the ribbon - try the middle one.
 
I tried that. It DOES give me the info I need, but I have to find the correct pull down menu (all contact fields), and then scroll to the info every time. Is there a way to simplify this process? It's just frustrating since it has been there since at least 2000, and now it's gone.

I forgot about that one - funny, since i added it to my ribbon when i first started using outlook. <g>
 
Thank you =) I think that's about as close as I'm going to get. It shows "date modified".
 
Cam upon this conversation and I found another way. In the Contacts screen, View your contacts as a list. Go into Field Chooser...there are two fields called "Created" and "Modified"...insert the fields and now you can view this info, sort it, print it out or export it.
