Hello. I wonder if any Outlook guru's can help me solve an issue I have with
outlook 2003.
We have an outlook 2003 running on a windows 2000 server, processing
several POP3 email accounts. The account in question connects to the mail server
then it does several things according to a rule;
1. When the message arrives...
2. print it...
3. and forward it to 2 email accounts...
4. and move it into a specified folder.
(See rules.jpg.)
Everything works except step 3 which works 40% of the time. If you look at
folder.jpg you will see that some of the emails have an opened envelope with
an arrow, these emails are forwarded OK. The emails with the unopened
envelope have not been automatically forwarded, and I have no idea why (But
at least outlook shows that they were not forwarded.
I have no idea why it randomly fails at step 3. I have had identical emails,
same sender, subject, content etc, with only a purchase order number different
in the message body, and one gets forwarded, the other doesn't so it’s not the
spam filter.
The PST has no errors and it about 300K, well within the 2GB limit. It’s in
pre-unicode PST file format.
Any ideas as I'm cracking up!
