I am experiencing the following problem(s) in Outlook 2010 32-bit
Outlook 2010 32-bit Overview
The attachments will show all the details. It looks complicated, but it works fine for me. If there is a better way to overall manage my requirements, I would be happy to change.
- I cannot get a downloaded vCard from the internet to save to my “contacts” (NOTE: I have more than one “Contacts)
- I need to set up outlook to look in a specific “contacts” file (given that there are two)
- I am having a problem with how a contact is displayed when I create a new mail
Outlook 2010 32-bit Overview
- I originally had a single e-mail address in Outlook and therefore a single “contacts” list/file
- I added other e-mail addresses over time
- I did not create a separate Profile, as I wanted to be able to see all the inboxes in a single view at the same time (so that I could see if I had new e-mails in any of the 4 inboxes.
- I migrated from rogerst@eircom.net (my original account) to tommyrogers1954@yahoo.com (my new main account). When I did this, I simply did a “copy folder” from the old to the new.
- However, when I save, for example, a new vCard from an internet page, it saves the contact to the old contacts folder.
- I ideally want to delete the contacts folder from the old account and rely on the new one only, but I firstly want to be sure that new contacts will save there.
