Tasks not assigning

When I assign a task to my associate, she does not get an "accept/decline" option and the formatting does not fit on the page.

I can't tell if the problem is on my computer or hers ... and if I did isolate that, how do I fix it?
 
Check the sent folder - does it look correct there? It sounds like the TNEF data (aka winmail.dat) is getting lost - that is what adds the Accept/Decline buttons - and its being convert to HTML format. you are both using the same version of Outlook and on the same Exchange server?

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/outlook-is-sending-winmail-dat-attachments/ for the options to check on your system - you want to send TNEF/Winmail.dat but the dialogs show what to check.

thanks, no, I am on exchange, but she is not. Maybe that is the problem?
