For some time I have been having a problem with recurring tasks. When I create a new task and make it recur monthly or yearly with no end date, it gets created correctly. When the date to complete that task comes I either delete it (choosing "delete this one") or sometimes I move it to the following day and then delete it when done. In either case, Outlook also creates a new entry for that task on the appropriate day the next month or year, which is the expected behavior.
At least that is what used to happen. For the last few months it has been doing something strange. When I delete or move the task, Outlook now creates multiple versions of the same recurring task either on the next anniversary date or sometimes on multiple days which are not at all related to the normal recurrence date. Any ideas on how to stop this?
