I am currently using Outlook 2010, 32 bit, Windows 7 with pop mail, hosted thru Godaddy.

I sync my calendar, contacts, etc to my Blackberry with Blackberry Desktop Manager and a USB cable.

I am getting the new BB Z10, but it does not work with the BB Desktop manager.

I am looking for ways to sync my calendar, contacts etc.

Here's my thought:

I can set up a hosted exchange email thru Godaddy (with a new domain name and email address), which could handle everything.

However, since I want to keep my old pop email address, can I set up Outlook with 2 accounts - one for the pop address and one for the hosted exchanged address?

Then I would like to get email only at the pop address and everything else - contacts, calendar, etc - would be set up thru the hosted exchange address. Will this work? Will it sync all my stuff (other than my email) instantly? If it does,how do I transfer my contacts and calendar only from the old account to the new account? Do I need to delete them from my old account? Will it all look the same in Outlook. Do I need to keep 2 pst files?

Yes on two accounts.

Blackberry is releasing an update that will sync by usb - I don't know exactly when though. See post from Ty near the bottom - New Blackberry 10 Sync to Outlook - Page 31 - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

If you go with Exchange, you would open both accounts in outlook then drag calendar appointments (use list view) and contacts to the Exchange mailbox calendar and contacts.

Also, do you know if there is any limit to the number of contacts that you can have in a hosted exchange account?

Godaddy seems to show a 1000 limit on their site, but I don't know if that is just for shared contacts vs local contacts.

Also, do you have any idea how long it will take to sync with the hosted exchange mail the first time - i have about 4500 contacts and 8800 calendar items.

There should not be a limit with hosted exchange - if there is, I'd avoid that company. Office365's limit is based solely on mailbox size - 25GB. At 8.95/mo for 2GB at godaddy - you can get 25 GB at office365.com in the E1 plan which includes SharePoint (1 basic public facing website + private sites), public folder and managed mailboxes - for $8/mo. It doesn't include an Outlook license, but you have Outlook.

My preference is the $8 plan on the Enterprise tab - Compare Office For Business Plans - Office.com - it works well, even for small companies.
