Display of Sending Account in Outlook 2007 no longer works

I have a number of accounts set up in Outlook 2007. There is a default, or I can choose a different account which generates a different from address. My accounts look like this:

When I compose a message, it always used to display the account it would be sent from.

Thus:

However, something changed this weekend after many years. When I compose a message it no longer displays automatically.

Thus:

Snapshot_2014.02.22_005_.jpg

If I click on an account it displays, but not initially. Anybody know how I get it to display when I start composing a message like it used to?

Thanks Diane, but I am not sure what you mean.

This is what it displays when I compose a message:

This is what it displays if I select one of the accounts. It is also what used to display by default until 3 days ago. Some parameter got changed somehow.
