Problem with Reminder appearing in Inbox

Hi - I hope you can help me with this- somehow a reminder has appeared in my inbox that includes all of my current emails (137) in the inbox. Have no idea how this happened except to say I was designating 1 message to high importance when the next thing I know, there is this 'reminder' at the top of my inbox with all my email included in it.

Tried to find a way to remocve it to no avail. I'm afraid if I delete it I will delete the emails as well. Help! Using Outlook 2007 SP3

This is the reminder window? Did you flag all of the messages? Select all (Ctrl+A) then either right click, choose Follow up and clear the flag or look for the flag button on the toolbar and clear it from there.
 
thanks for responding Diane..No, this is my Inbox. I have not checked any messages. the reminder appears at the top of my inbox in gray. It reads: Reminder: NO (135 items). In addition, any new email I receive now comes under a reminder located at the bottom of my inbox. It reads Reminder: None (23 items, 22 unread). Obviously the number of items and unread is variable.

Opening the reminder window is no help as there's nothing there to remove. I'm out of ideas. I'm aware of a folder reset you can do but am afraid of losing my inbox content. Any insight into this workaround?
 
Diane- Problem has been found! Under View/Arrange By/ somehow got changed to 'Custom' instead of 'by Date'. Changed it back and the 'Reminder' is gone. Whew.

Diane, I am having a vey similar problem to this but not sure how to fix it. I had to reinstall my Outlook version 2010 because of a glitch. When I installed it I went to set an appointment with a reminder, however it came back with the following “The reminder for “<subject>” will not appear because the item is in a folder that doesn’t support reminders. “ A friend suggested I right click on that pst and select "Data File Properties"...make sure check box

I don't know how to find the PST file to find the portion in the red box to check it off. None of what I tried had this box. Please advise.

My other challenge is that I am not having my calendar items update on my iPhone calendar, when it did before the re-install of Outlook. Help?
