Disappearing data from outlook calendar after using icloud-ical

Let me start by saying...it used to be fine! But...after accepting a calendar invite from Open Table and adding to my calendar through email....all of my colored flags and data added to appointments have disappeared. I tried restoring to a previous date. I'm using Office Professional Plus but it seems like formatting is now an issue. Also odd...the weirdness only impacts from July 1st. Prior to that all of my info is intact. The info is not sitting out under other calendars....it is gone. Is there a way I can restore it?
 
That is really weird. It's likely you can't restore it, but I'm not sure what happened, so anything is possible.

They're gone from the items on the phone too?

In what way is formatting a problem?
 
Yes...info is gone from the items on my phone as well. Formatting....all of my colour coded flags have been removed and everything has been changed to rich text. It's so odd that anything that I pasted into the body of the calendar info field is gone!
