I have 2 Outlooks: 2003 on WinXP & 2016 on Win10. I copy the Outlook.pst between them to keep them sync'd. I also copy the Archive1.pst between them in order to sync archived items. In Windows XP, in Outlook 2003, when I click on the link for "Tasks in Archive Folders", it doesn't open. Instead, I get a message saying "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
I recently discovered that I had created & copied a new small archive1.pst. I restored one from my backup from about 2 weeks ago.
I've never used Microsoft Exchange Server & I used to be able to search old completed tasks. How can I get it to search my archive1.pst file, which is listed under Tools/Options/Other/AutoArchive?
I notice that if I press Ctrl+6 to list folders, Calendar is listed under Archive Folders, but Tasks isn't.
Thank you in advance,
