I realize that this has been asked a few times before (somewhere) in this forum but could not locate any. When I did do mine a few years ago, the email accounts and data did not import as it was in the original setup. And per usual not all of the emails where copied over. In order to upgrade the wife's computer I had to load Win7 on another H/D in order to install 64bit. Here 32bit Win7 would not upgrade to Win10. And that now upgrades to Win10. Installed MS Pro 2010 and imported the files mentioned and found that data and emails did not all import. After reading off and on for a month I found that some people are using a newer method. (I hope posting this link is allowed) Backup and Restore all Outlook data - HowTo-Outlook and after reading this, I am more confused. Is there any info for an old man that is loosing it
She only has 1 email account where I had 4 email accounts, if that makes any difference. And when I imported the first time not all was imported. Is the email account included in the Outlook Data File? The howto link mentions putting the exported into a file and use that file to use in the new Outlook. I know your tired reading and I am tired typing so I'll go with what is here. THX
