Outlook roaming signatures may have been a good idea, but MS needs to let us know that this is happening. My wife couldn't figure out where her signatures went, as she did not have access to all of them using her favorite account. AND... her "Signatures and Stationery" dialog box is now changed. It is different from what it used to be. Interestingly, my "Signatures and Stationery" dialog box is still the old style, AND we both have the identical version of Outlook (16026.20146). How does this happen?
I have tried to undo this and found this Outlook roaming options, but it didn't undo the changes Outlook already made. I also found this Outlook rooming signatures that explains this in a bit more detail.
I hope this helps others understand what's happening. I spent hours trying to figure this out.
The registry key for roaming signature works - but you need to restart outlook for it to take effect.
On roaming signatures - you should have the locally stored signatures available but can't assign then to accounts - they will be available nn the insert signature dialog.
BTW - not sure why you don't have the new dialog - if you don't reboot daily, that could be way. Some of the features are pushed out slowly and enabled via a registry change Microsoft pushed out overnight.
