Outlook 2010 Emailed folder but no 'From-To-Subject' information. Date okay.

Not come across this one before, thank the Outlook Gods!
For no apparent reason my OL inbox's only shows that there is an email envelope, there is no 'From To Subject' information if I click on the email it brings up the page as shown below. Emails sent to any of my 4 addresses are visible in my BT Email account and on my Android phone but not in Outlook. I can send an email from OL to my wife on her android phone and to me on my android phone. both are okay.
It seems that the problem is with OL opening an email on this PC. Is it a virus or a corrupt file somewhere?
Any suggestions gratefully received.
System should be Windows 11 Pro Fully up to date!

That is what you see in the inbox? If yes, it indicates something is corrupting the message (usually a content scanner).

Can you turn off razorgate and see if new messages are affected? (I assume it's BT's software on the server and you probably can't disable it on your account)

Do you have other AV or antispam software running on your computer? Many of the non-microsoft antivirus softwares include email scanning. since razorgate is scanning, you don't need another scanner.

Thank you for your reply, my inbox shows there is an envelope but nothing else, just a long empty line. It was working fine this morning as it has for years. I had never heard of razorgate and have no idea where it came from, I will search my PC just in case it is there. The only anti spam or AV on my PC is BitDefender total security and have had that installed for a decade or more. I will also run that overnight as a full scan.
 
YES! Seems I am not the only one with this problem, I've been overworking my last brain cell trying to remember if I did something I shouldn't have. I have posted on the MS Q&A and I see there are some suggestions that I could try but don't want to make matters worse.

Based on what I see on Q&A, it's probably not your client.

If you can live with it, I'd say just [Follow] the Q&A post and watch for a real answer. Or, as it seems to do for some people, just fixes itself (Microsoft fixes it on their end).

Even without the other reports, I didn't think you did somethin. I've seen this before with mcafeee and norton.

It's looks like its razorgate-vade doing it.
 
Thank you both for your messages, I am not sure what to do, I would obviously prefer to get my Outlook fixed, but that is probably in the hands of Microsoft. I note after updating my PC to W11Pro I have a new icon in my task bar labelled Outlook (New), could this be an option? I do not want to risk messing things up even more than they already are.
Diane. Please advise if changing from POP to IMAP would/should work? There is probably a link on this that you could share on what I need to do? Maybe Outlook (new) and change to IMAP?
 
This may be fixed quickly or rolled back. If you have not contacted your email support, do that so they know more are affected.

You can try new Outlook... it only does IMAP though. I don't like it with IMAP though (other than google, yahoo, iCloud - because it also syncs those calendar and contacts).

Since you are using 2010, you can add the account to Outlook as IMAP without removing the pop account. When it's fixed on the server, delete the messed up email in pop (turn off delete from server in Outlook settings first) then copy the messages from IMAP to the pst. Then remove the IMAP account.

When you add an IMAP account, I'm pretty sure Outlook 2010 still defaults to pop - you need to choose manual set up and choose IMAP.
 
Thank you Diane. Reading up the differences between POP3 and IMAP I will continue with POP3 for the mean time and hope this issue gets fixed quickly.

If I make a new BT email account, then enter it in Outlook as an IMAP email, would it work as a test bed? I can send it emails from my other BT email accounts and see if they come across okay?
