I have our BCM 07 database on the server and use the Database tool to add and

backup. Is there any way to check the database for errors/re-index since I

don't have outlook with bcm on the server? I have searched this user group

and can not find how to do it.

You should be able to check for errors under Database tools, "manage

database" click on check errors....

If this does not work try your #2 CD to check for errors...

You can also visit microsoft.com web site for more information...on the

microsoft web site click on office then look for outlook 2007 w/BCM they have

tutorials and troubleshooting.

I tried managing from a client machine but the managing button is greyed out.

How do I make it see me as the owner?

Hi, Garyrd

This is the Microsoft Support Telephone Number 800-936-5700. The Support

Team should be able to help you regarding this matter, you will need to reach

the Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager Team Support.

Microsoft was very helpful with my BCM issue. I was up and running right

away. They followed up with e-mail as well to make sure the problem was

resolved.

It's the Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager support not

Outlook 2007 department. If you've reached the Outlook 2007 department only,

ask them if this is the outlook 2007 business contact manager department to

help troubleshoot the issue you're having.

If you can, when get this issue resolved it may be helpful to post the

resolved issue here on this board for others in case they run into the same

problem.

Try to contact them to resolve this issue, they maybe able to help.
