I am using Windows 7 and Outlook 2007 with the latest Outlook Connector (Windows Live Hotmail), and I have Qwest DSL with an MSN premium account. I've encountered a problem where I can't send a .zip file containing an .exe file. The message error code is 0x8DE00006 with a server error code of 5203. If I rename the .exe file to .exe1, and then zip it, I can send the file. If I use the Windows Live Mail program, I can't send the .zip file containing the .exe file, but I can by using the Hotmail program on the MSN home page.
It sounds like a attachment security issue, but I thought .zip files (even if they contained .exe files) wouldn't be blocked.
Thanks for the assistance,
Mark
