I'm using the MS Outlook 365 client on my PC for several mailboxes (2 x Exchange and the rest MAPI). In the mailbox of an exchange account I am authorised to send an e-mail using a group mailbox. If I want to send from this group mailbox, I need to change the "From" field in an e-mail message, and the message is sent without issues. The drop down field provides an option to select "Another e-mailaddress" and next type the group mailbox address and the account to use to send this message. So far so good. The selected group mailbox is stored in this list for later use in this selection screen (see contact@... and legal@....)
The legal mailbox is a group mailbox connected to an exchange account. The contact@ is an alias used in a mapi mailbox and works as expected, also when it is selected from this list in future e-mail messages. However, when sending a new e-mail using the earlier setup legal@... from this list, the messsage is not send and throws an error "You are not authorized to send messages on behalf of this user”. It is like the selected group mailbox "forgets" which mailbox to use when sending the message.
A work around is just to delete the stored group mailbox from this list and setup the send from another e-mail address every time. However, this workaround costs a lot of time. Is this a known problem, or is there a solution to resolve this?
