Hello All,

We are thinking of moving our current Exchange servers from our office location to our datacenter. Each location has it's own separate domain that is non trusted. (localnetwork.net - Office) and (remotenetwork.com - datacenter) is it possible to create a trusted domain, which would allow me to move our exchange servers to the the datacenter and allow our users to access using the trusted domain setup.

Would it be easier if I just re-named the domain at our datacenter and setup where it would fall under the forest of our local network?

Any help would be welcome
 
What version of exchange? Depending on what is using the data center domain, it might be easier to change it to use the exchange domain. if you are using the domain for SQL, sharepoint or other apps it can make it more complicated to change the domain - creating a trust would be easier.

We're running exchange 2007 sp2, on Windows 2008, we're using 2003 AD setup at our office. At our data center we're running windows 2008 with 2003 AD setup. We're running a sql server in our remote domain, but we can change settings to fit our needs that won't cause too much interruption.
