Outlook 2003 - error on startup

Hi

Can any help me, I have been running outlook 2003 for years without any problems but in the last few days, it will not run.

Every time I try to load outlook, I get the following message:-

The requested lookup key was not found in any active context

I have been looking how to fix this, but only seem to find articles that relate to IE6, IE7, IE8 which is not the issue. I am using IE8 without any problems, running windows XP pro, service pack 3.

None of the information that I have found relates to outlook, not even on Microsoft web site!

Anyone had this problem?

Anyone got a fix?

Hi

I have rebooted several times, have tried to start outlook in safe mode, makes no difference.

My system restore points are too far back which would probably cause other problems.

Windows is set to do auto updates so no idea what has and has not been updated recently.

I have also tried starting outlook with various switches but nothing seems to get it working. It does not even allow me to load it, so can't get to existing emails.

Totally stuck!
 
Everything i can find out about the error is that it relates to activation and a corrupt install of IE. I don't know if uninstalling outlook (or office) and reinstalling after a reboot might help or not.
