Company calendar sharing problems

Hi all,

Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2010 used within our company. Each users calendar to be shared with receptions calendar.

When reception organises appointments for the partners the appointment goes into both the partners calendar and receptions calendar. With 10 partners, receptions calendar will be flooded with duplicate appointments when it would be easier just to view the partners calendar instead. How do we stop the apppointment duplicating into receptions calendar?

Also is there anyway of bypassing the need for the partner to accept the appointment? I want reception to put in appointments for the various partners without having to have partners accept the appointments and flooding inboxes with requests.

Your help would be much appreciated

The receptionist is creating meetings with the partners when she needs to be adding the apt directly on their calendar. Have the partners made the receptionist a delegate? Then she can open their calendars in her outlook and create the appt on the calendar directly. She only needs access to calendar and maybe tasks. Or, you can just give her Editor permission to the calendars instead - this will eliminate problems with her receiving meeting invites. (Right click on the calendar, choose properties, permissions.
