HELP - Can't open outlook... How can I extract my Emails that I had in folders

Hi. Long story - cut short:

Was running Outlook on a Mac using the Bootcamp partition facility. The partition has failed. Windows will now not start / open.

I have put in the Windows DVD and run the 'repair' program. Windows is apparently fine, but I just cannot open it....

So I have now got a new laptop (NOT a Mac this time..) which is great, but I need all my emails that were saved in dozens and dozens of folders.... plus all the email that werre in my inbox and sent box etc....The last .pst backup that I did was over a year ago so this is of little use....

Is there a way to "get inside" the program and extract these things, as I obviously cannot use the built in export facility as the program wont run....

Any ideas PLEASE....?

If you can get into the location where Outlook stored the pst file, you can recover it... I'm not familiar with bootcamp (I have a mac but no need for windows-on-mac) - is the partition browse-able from the mac? Or is it like a virtual machine where you only see one huge file?

Hi Diane and thanks for your response.
Some files are visible and some are not. If you can tell me where exactly where the pst file is normally kept then I can at least have a good try to find it.... Are the emails and the contacts normally kept in the same folder or different folders? I am only really concerned about all the emails that I had put in personal folders...

Assuming the default pst locations for Outlook 2010 - POP3 pst files are in My Documents\Outlook Files. In older versions of Outlook and for imap accounts, it's under the windows user account - in windows 7 its C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\outlook. In XP, its C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook The files and folders in this path are marked hidden in windows.

all email, calendar and contacts are in the pst.
